Theme for the week: Feelings

Beginning next Monday we will be starting the Lending Library. The children can choose a book to take home. The return date will be indicated in the book.

Next Tuesday starts Show-and-Tell.  Your child is asked to bring into school a photo or object that is meaningful to him/her. Your child will tell the class why it is so special to him/her.

Beginning this Wednesday we will be cooking each week. This week we are baking oatmeal cookies. Your child will knead the dough and roll balls which we will bake into cookies. Please inform us of all food allergies!

Thursday is neighborhood walk day. Please make sure you return the neighborhood walk permission slip or write a note of your own, sign it and date it.

Friday of each week is special art day. We will have fun exploring various art mediums and techniques.

REMINDERS:  Make sure we have a change of clothes for your child. We also need a black-and-white marble notebook for our journal. Every item brought to school should have your child's name written on it.  If you have not sent in two non-returnable photos of your child, please do so as soon as possible.

If your child is absent from class for any reason, an absence note is required for our records.
